CHECKING ACCOUNTS
Our Checking Account is a truly “Free” checking account. This account is also referred to as “Share Draft Account.” There is NO monthly fee, NO minimum balance to maintain and NO per-check cleared charge. This account is a non-interest bearing account. A minimum deposit of $100.00 is required to open this account.We have a variety of check styles to choose from. Check orders come with duplicates for your record keeping. You will receive monthly statements on your checking account.
VISA CHECK CARD
Need access to your checking or savings account 24-7? Corpus Christi S.P. Credit Union’s VISA Check Card offers this access through Automatic Teller Machines (ATM’s). The VISA Check Card eliminates writing a check at any merchant displaying the VISA logo. Additional benefits of the VISA Check Card are access to balance inquiries and transfers through the ATM’s that display Pulse, Cirrus, and CO-OP logos.CCSPCU will charge a minimal $1.00 transaction fee for ATM transactions and a .50 fee for all ATM balance inquiries.Important Note: When you use an ATM you may be charged a fee by the ATM operator or any network used (and you may be charged a fee for a balance inquiry even if you do not complete a fund transfer).
CHRISTMAS CLUB ACCOUNTS
A Christmas Club Account is a special savings account designed to help you save money for Christmas. You can open this account with a deposit of $5.00. You can only make deposits to this account. No withdrawals are allowed. Dividends are paid on the average daily balance for the year compounding quarterly. On or about October 1st of each year, the Credit Union will deposit into your regular share account the balance in your Christmas Club Account.
DIRECT DEPOSIT
Use direct deposit to provide a safe, convenient way to automatically deposit to your share account any periodic payments you may receive. There is no fee for this service.
PAYROLL DEDUCTION
The Credit Union accepts payroll deduction from all employers who will provide the service to its employees. There is no fee to have a portion of your paycheck/payroll automatically deposited to the Credit Union. The payroll deduction will be posted to your Regular Share Account automatically; received funds are then transferred to other Credit Union account(s) (savings, loans, etc.) you have designated.
NOTARY PUBLIC
The Credit Union offers Notary public service free of charge to our members.
DISCOUNT THEME PARK TICKETS
The Credit Union usually has discounted tickets and or consignment tickets to Texas Theme Parks such as Six Flags-Fiesta Texas, and Schlitterbahn Water Parks in New Braunfels, Texas and South Padre Island, Texas. Call the Credit Union for current prices.
WIRE SERVICE
The Credit Union provides incoming and outgoing wire service for the membership. The Credit Union does not charge a fee for incoming wires into your account. Please call the Credit Union for details and fees for outgoing wires.
